Face Covering

Though masks are no longer required, we strongly encourage staff and visitors to wear them. Procedures have been put in place to ensure that care, caution, and attention to detail extend to the parts of the business customers do not see.

  • - Our local centers are following guidance from the CDC and state public health officials on how and when to exclude staff that are diagnosed, sick or exposed. All staff and customers must agree to have their temperature checked for fever before entering the premises. Anyone who displays symptoms is asked to stay home and not return based on state and CDC guidance.
  • - Staff are wearing approved face coverings, in alignment with the CDC's recommendation to help prevent the spread. It is important to know, as to not limit availability for medical personnel and first responders, Workforce Solutions is not procuring medical-grade masks or face coverings.
  • - Front counter plexiglass shields to provide an extra layer of protection between our staff and customers.

Team Hygiene

All of our procedures are developed in strict adherence to CDC and FDA guidelines. The CDC and Surgeon General have advised hand washing with soap and water as one of the most effective ways to reduce risks of transmitting an infection.

  • - Staff have been advised to wash their hands at an even greater frequency and to sanitize hands more regularly.
  • - To ensure adequate sanitizing, we have provided staff with sanitation stations across centers to keep their workspaces germ-free.

Social Distancing

Our team has been vigilant about social distancing and limiting any physical contact with customers during this time. Here are a few examples of changes we are making in our centers:

  • - To help staff maintain six-feet separation from each other and customers whenever possible, our centers have been equipped with visual diagrams with guidelines.
  • - Social distancing floor decals will be placed at least six feet apart along a walking path (inside and outside), and to the restrooms, when open.
  • - We are creating walking paths through the centers for customers, with marks every six feet to encourage social distancing.
  • - To allow customers to maintain a social distance while using in resources like computers, several workstations will be closed to ensure adequate distance between clients.

Deep Cleaning

Workforce Solutions centers utilize three different cleaners that are on the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) list of disinfectant products effective for use against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).

Staff will use these products to clean and disinfect all high-touch equipment every 60 minutes, including:

  • - Computer Workstations
  • - Printers
  • - Waiting areas
  • - Plexiglass protection
  • - Door handles

Staff will clean and sanitize (or disinfect based on state or local requirements) surfaces as needed and our cleaning team will disinfect and sanitize centers at the end of the day to ensure a deep cleaning eliminates contaminants.
